Dear President Trump,
I want to say thank you for everything you have said and done.
While your “Twitter wars” sometimes get a little out of hand, I appreciate hearing from you, knowing what you’re really thinking rather than hearing the language of political correctness through the lense of publicists and editors.
You gave up a billion dollar Penthouse to serve your country. And no matter what anybody says, that’s not an easy or glamorous job. You meet criticism, lies and the weight of the entire country is on your shoulders. You’re honest and therefore seen as offensive, but I see it as refreshing and brave. Sometimes vulgar, but at least it’s real.
Nobody is perfect, not even you. But no matter how prideful and cocky you might seem, your interest for the country is unquestionably sincere. Sometimes over the line, but we never question where your allegiance lies.
The amount of jokes and hate sent your way makes my own heart hurt, because no one should be treated that way. Still you press on, still you keep your promises and fight for America first. You waste little time, but rather claim every day as another chance to fight harder and push further.
You are our President and I thank you.
Erika – A proud American
